1. Scope
This policy covers marketing telephone calls, SMS/text messages, and prerecorded or automated messages that The Peace Agency sends to the phone number a customer provides. It applies when we contact you about insurance products, policy renewals, quotes, promotions, or related opportunities to review your coverage.
2. Consent
Marketing calls and texts to wireless numbers may be delivered using automated technology, including an autodialer or prerecorded voice. Before making those marketing calls or sending those marketing texts, we require your prior express written consent where required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
You may give that consent through a web form with a checkbox that you actively check (the box is never pre-checked), a signed form, or a keyword text—for example, replying YES to a request to subscribe. The consent language will identify the types of messages you may receive and explain that consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance or any goods or services from The Peace Agency.
If you consent, you may receive recurring messages about insurance products, policy renewals, quotes, and promotions. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not required to request a quote, buy insurance, or receive service from us through other available channels.
3. Opting out or revoking consent
You may opt out of marketing communications or revoke your consent at any time by any reasonable means. You can:
- Reply STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to a text message.
- Tell the agent on a call that you do not want marketing calls or texts.
- Email or write to us using the Contact Us methods listed below.
Every marketing text includes a reply-STOP opt-out instruction. Every prerecorded marketing call includes an opt-out option. We honor opt-out requests as soon as possible and no later than 10 business days after receiving them. Opting out of informational messages also stops marketing messages from us. After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message to acknowledge your request; we will not send additional marketing messages unless you later provide new consent.
4. Internal Do-Not-Call list
The Peace Agency maintains an internal do-not-call list. We honor requests on that list, the National Do Not Call Registry, and applicable Colorado do-not-call rules. We record opt-out requests and suppress marketing calls and texts to opted-out numbers for at least five years, unless you provide new consent after opting out.
5. Data handling
We store consent records and opt-out records securely and retain them for at least five years. These records are used only to manage whether you are eligible to receive communications covered by this policy, document your preferences, and help us honor your requests.
